Each member of staff can have their own area on the web site.
Staff don't need to access the web site directly to make changes. Documents or folders from their computer can be added to the pages on the site, then all they need do is open the document, make the changes they would like to see and then close the document - they don't even need to remember to save. A revision history for each document is kept, so if a mistake is made it's easy to revert back to a previous version. These documents can be in the form of a word processed document, a presentation, a spreadsheet or a drawing. They can be accessible by pupils to edit, download, leave comments on or just to view.
A set of folders on the local machine can also be setup whose contents are shown on the site. This means that staff only need to save a worksheet on their laptop for it to be accessible to pupils. An example of this is shown below.
At present these features will need to be setup in advance by Learnfix, but a system is in our development plans to allow each user to have their own personal page where they can easily do all of this for themselves.
